Fun Runs/Walks

Join us at one of the fun runs/walks listed below! While each site has standard runs/walks, there is always the option of an out & back so you can go as short or long as you like. All levels are welcome, including walkers! After the run/walk, there is always an eating option for those interested. Some members join just for the eating part! If you have any questions, e-mail us at lafrontrunners@gmail.com.

If you are new to LAFR or visiting LAFR as a member of another Frontrunners club, there is no need to become a member to attend a fun run/walk. After you’ve checked us out by attending one or two of our runs/walks, please purchase a membership.

Tuesday MORNING - Griffith Park

8:00 AM

Meet at the flag pole at the Jimmy Stewart Memorial diagonally across from the Park Rangers headquarters on Crystal Springs Drive. Driving north from the entrance at Los Feliz Blvd and Riverside Dr, this is about 1.3 miles into the park. Click HERE for google map.

Meet in Palisades Park in Santa Monica near the intersection of Ocean and San Vicente, just south of the restrooms. Look for us between the low wall (the "Millennium Wall") and the fence overlooking the ocean. Click HERE for google map.

Thursday Track - Occidental

6:30 PM

All levels and experience welcome! Join us for a coached track workout on the Occidental College track in Eagle Rock. While this is a running workout, walkers are welcome to join and use the track to walk as well. Click below for more info/directions/parking.
